This is a lovely circular route with breathtaking views of Bute and Arran on quiet single track roads. We start and end at Portavadie Marina and travel by ferry from Tarbert (Loch Fyne).

We will be riding tarmac on single track public roads with traffic. The route has some hills but we will take our time and there's always an option to walk hills if you prefer. We have the whole day to explore so there will be plenty of time to rest.

We will be riding in a clockwise direction in a loop. Our first stop will be at Wild Kitchen just before Kames for coffee/ cake. Next up we will stop at the local shop in Kames for supplies if people are looking for extra snacks etc. Kames also have a public WC opposite the shop. Next up we will stop at Carry Farm where there is another coffee/ cake shop and WCs. Here there will be an option for a wild swim, walk along the lovely beach or browse the art gallery. As we continue there is a bothy selling sandwiches/ burgers at Kilbride Farm. We will complete our ride at Portavadie marina where there is a restaurant and shops.

Cycle helmets are compulsory on our Breeze rides. You may want to bring along cash or card for cafe stops or bring your own snacks/ packed lunch. There will be able places to stop. We are also making a detour for a wild swim in the sea, so bring suitable swimming clothing and a towel. The option to swim is at your own risk and not covered by British Cycling insurance.

First-timers welcome!
