You don't have to be the next Bradley Wiggins, but you'll need to know your way around a bike and be fairly fit to take part in our Challenging rides. If you're comfortable riding with other people and fancy a fresh challenge, these rides are perfect for you. They start at around twenty miles long, and are paced at between 11 and 12 miles an hour. This is a challenging loop from the Eastern edge of Portsmouth to the Roman Palace at Fishbourne and back. Highlights include riding traffic free alongside the Farlington Marshes wildlife reserve. This is a relatively traffic free route to and through Havant. We'll pass through the thriving village of Westbourne riding on quiet roads in open countryside with spectacular views of the South downs and farmland. We'll stop for a coffee break at the Fishbourne Roman Palace cafe. We'll take a different (and flat) route back through hamlets of West Ashling and Woodmancote rejoining the outwards route at Westbourne. We look forward to seeing you there!
