Starting point

Greater Manchester

We start from Post Code cafe and head to Amberswood to view the lakes. Then we head to Haigh Hall country park via the Whelley loop. After the inevitable climb (it’s Wigan) we arrive at the Stables for a well earned break. After this it’s down Red Rock to Chorley road were we pick up the bridle way that leads through Standish to Beech Hill. We drop down the hill to pick up the tow path at Martland Mill that leads back to Post Code cafe.
