About the route
Starting point
Leggers Inn, Savile town marina, Mill St, Dewsbury, WF12 9BD. Free parking & toilets on site.
Follow the canal to Monkton then pass through Pugneys water park, pass Sandal Station, through Walton nature park to Wintersett. Return via Walton to Sandal Station, then reverse of route back. Café & toilets at Wintersett or Puneys. Route 80% off-road at a steady pace.
