Starting point

West Midlands
B24 0NS

Our ride to Aston Hall will start from Paget Primary School and we will cycle along the canal towpath, shared cycle pathways and local roads until we reach Aston Hall. On the return we will ride through (Salford Park, Brookvale Park, Witton Lakes & Bleak Hill Park) before approaching Erdington and return to Paget School.

We will have a refreshment break at the Staple Yard cafe at Aston Hall for 30-45 mins. There are toilets onsite.

PLEASE NOTE: we have the option for beginner's to return back the same way on the canal which will be a flatter route (as long as we have enough leaders). We can confirm before the actual ride.

We always go at the slowest person's pace in order to keep the group together and do not leave anyone behind. Our rides are steady and for those who want to learn more about the local routes in their area and increase their confidence being part of a group. We are a friendly group and everyone plays their part in helping each other on the ride.

Please ensure that your bike is in good working order and wear a cycle helmet. It you can bring lights as we go through a couple of small tunnels on the canal.

If you can bring a drink with you, a spare inner tube or puncture kit and bike lock.

PLEASE NOTE: We have a selection of bikes & helmets available on request (subject to availability). It is essential you book 24 hours prior to the ride by emailing: [email protected]
