This is an out and back ride leaving the Lookout Cafe on the Westcliff at Ramsgate going to Spires Cafe in Deal. We will follow the coast along the Viking Trail through Sandwich Bay and then back again. The route is relatively flat and not too challenging. We will ride mostly on paved cycle paths and roads but there will be some short sections of unpaved cycle path along Pegwell Bay. Our refreshment stop will be the Spires Cafe in Deal where there is a nice selection of hot and cold food and delicious cakes at amazing prices.
Remember to bring a spare inner tube and tools to remove your wheel/tyre in the event of a puncture. as well as a drink and money for refreshments.
Weather is likely to be cold so layer up to keep warm.
Helmets are compulsory.
