Eastrop Park (by the bandstand) Eastrop Lane Basingstoke Hampshire RG21 4QF

No Wellington boots needed for this ride; still some very endearing rare pigs and sheep to see though. Ride starts at Eastrop Park, out through Old Basing, making our way to Turgis Green Ln, Daneshill School to the A33, which we will cross to get to Stratfield Saye. Mostly a flat ride, but a couple of unavoidable inclines, Newnhman lane hill being one(good leg warmer this time of year) and a cake/ hot drinks earner, just before getting to the farm shop. Return ride will go back through Stratfield Saye, Bramley, Caufaude Ln, Chineham, Old Basing. Not a starter ride, the intended pace is 13mph. It is Remembrance Sunday, so I will be respecting the 2 minutes silence at 11:00am( if still on our bikes we will pull over to do so). Please ensure you wear clothing appropriate for the season(dig out the winter kit). Pump up tyres to appropriate pressure before leaving home(it makes for a more comfortable ride and can prevent punctures). Bring: a spare inner tube: pump: tyre levers: lights(back and front), as visibility is variable this time of year: helmet: snack and coins for the coffee shop. See you there Linda
