The ride will be about 22 miles of gravel riding. The Ribble Steam railway is a standard gauge preserved railway in Lancashire. It was opened in 2005 and runs along Preston Docks.

The ride is 90% cycle paths.

Bring a packed lunch and a drink. If we come across a cafe, we may stop for a cuppa but it's not planned.

Bring a helmet, suitable clothing and foot wear for the cool conditions, packed Lunch and drink, puncture repair kit and spare inner tube.
