This is a lovely ride, mainly traffic-free, down the Grand Union Canal to Brentford and then along the river to the scenic Teddington Lock. Crossing the river on the footbridge, we ride through Ham Common to the Ham Gate and a short, sharp climb to the top of Richmond Park. We cross the Park for a refreshment stop at the Pen Ponds Cafe, before using the off-road Tamsin Trail to take us round to the Richmond Gate. An easy route of quiet back streets brings us down to Kew Bridge, and then back to Ealing.

We take the canal towpath to Brentford and then ride along the riverside to Teddington Lock, before turning through Ham Common to enjoy the open spaces of Richmond Park.

We will use quiet back roads, canal and riverside paths, and traffic free routes across the Park.
