Welcome to one of new feature rides – Ride Darlo “On Tour”!

We start from the Wynyard Woodland Park complex in Stockton-on-Tees, there is parking and good facilities here. We ride out in an easterly direction, passing Wynyard Hall, then we’ll ride through the north of Billingham and through Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, before arriving in Greatham village. We then ride through the west end of Hartlepool towards our stopping point on the seafront at Seaton Carew. We’ll take a café break before completing the return ride in reverse along the same outgoing route. This is a great ride with a visit to the seaside at Seaton Carew, don’t forget to fit in an ice cream!

This ride is classed as a CHALLENGING ride which is around 24 miles in total. The ride is undulating with some hill climbs. The ride is all on the road or cycleways – all bike types suitable for this ride. It is suitable for riders who are comfortable sustaining around 10mph avg. and can continually cycle for around 2 hours each way. The stopover on this ride could be for up to an hour. Bear in mind these times are a guide and the ride can take longer.
