About the route
Starting point
6-20pm at The Hamilton Russell Pub in Thorpe Thewles 6-30pm at the Railway carriage on Wynyard Woods platform.
This ride is totally traffic free and follows the old railway lines from Wynyard Woods up to the picturesque Hurworth Burn reservoir. Ride along 13 miles of natures finest tracks and as the summer gets warmer you will get the opportunity to spot all sorts of wildlife from frogs to deer.
Bring some refreshments along as we tend to stop for a bit at the reservoir. We have been known to have post ride refreshments in the pub so if you choose this please make sure you bring ample locks for the bike.
