This is a gentle pleasant route on a variety of surface types all of which are good, we pass through the changing landscape that is South Manchester.

This route starts from the historic Levenshenge in Cringle Park, we then down the Fallowfield Loop through Chorlton and following the River Mersey to the majestic Whythenshawe Hall where we shall have well earned break at the courtyard Cafe. Fully refreshed we head back to the River Mersey passing through Northenden, Didsbury and Heaton Mersey we pass the great Pyramid of Stockport. The route then takes us through Heaton Moor and Chapel back to the Fallowfield Loop and then to our start point.

This route is mainly traffic free on good hard surfaced tracks with short sections on quiet roads

We will stop for refreshments at the Courtyard Cafe, cash or card

Please bring a spare inner tube and basic tools. Helmets are recommended.
