Ride through Autumn

Starting from - Roadside just after the lifeboat station at Pett Level or as close as you can. Please remember your cycle helmet, spare inner tube, pump, water to drink on the ride and money for refreshments at the end Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time so that we can do our safety checks and go through the route. It is important that you check that your bike is fully roadworthy, good brakes, gears that work and tyres that are pumped to the correct pressure – thanks, TN35 4EH

Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

Community rides are for more experienced riders in mixed groups and will be a little faster and longer. However through Autumn and Winter they will not usually exceed 20 miles. If you are not confident of riding in a group or in areas with more traffic then please try a Breeze Ride first where no one is ever left behind. Rides will generally be on minor roads and country lanes and may include some hills. Leaders of Community rides do not have to be a Breeze or Guided Ride leader and rides are designed to be more like a ride with your pals. We will always have a coffee, cake and a chat either during the ride or at the end.
