Ride through the Lakes to the Powerleague

This route in mainly on traffic free paths and goes through the green open spaces of Perry Meadows Park, Witton Lakes and Brookvale Park. There is a small section on the quieter roads especially at the start of the ride.

From Brookvale Park we turn right on to North Park Rd and follow the sign to the City Centre (veer left) where we can access the canal on Deykin Avenue. There is a small section on the canal until we reach the Powerleague on the Lichfield Rd (Salford Park).

On the return we will cycle through Salford Park and on the canal until we reach Brookvale Park. The route then returns back to the Wellbeing Centre.

We will have a 30 min refreshment break at the Powerleague (they take cash or card).

You will need to have your own bike to join the ride and it is advised and recommended to wear a helmet. We will do a bike check prior to the ride, to check everything is alright before you start the ride.

Please bring a drink with you, a spare inner tube(s) or puncture kit.
