Ride through Winter 2

This ride takes us out to the pretty village of Gumley via the short but steep climb that we may need to walk up. We then ride though some glorious countryside with wonderful views riding to Mowsely before heading back. There is scope to shorten the route should the weather be unkind to us.

Another winter ride for the brave hearted! This ride takes in some lovely Leicestershire countryside and will energise you for a new week.

We ride only on quiet country lanes with little traffic.

We'll stop for breathers along the way as needed and there is also the opportunity to enjoy some hot refreshments at the end of the ride.

You must wear a helmet on this ride and it's also a good idea to bring a spare inner tube. It's likely to be cold so wrap up warm and don't forget gloves. Front and rear lights are recommended too, particularly if you will be cycling home at the end of the ride,

New and returning riders are always very welcome. We ride at a gentle pace, chatting as we go and we never leave anyone behind.
