Ride to a concert in Howden

Via Broomfleet, bumpy track, Blacktoft (stop for DIY refreshments), Yokefleet and Kilpin. Back via Eastrington and Newport.

The idea is that we get there in time for a picnic lunch.

I have booked a couple of tickets but the website says that this is optional. From what Carmel told me, there is a retiring collection for donations.

It'd be good if you can check your bike before coming and bring:
- comfy clothes (layers are good for flexibility) including gloves and a waterproof if rain looks possible
- your helmet
- pump, inner tube and crossed fingers that they won't be needed!
- drink and snack (it's a good idea to refuel if the refreshment stop is near the end of the ride)
- money for refreshments
-bike lock - we will take D locks as we won't be able to see the bikes
- lights are good, particularly in dull weather
