Riverbank and woods

Starting in Brigg, the route travels through Scawby and Messingham to the Trent bank at West Butterwick. The ride goes to Susworth then through Laughton Woods to Blyton where we have our stop. From Blyton we head towards Kirton Lyndsey and then back to Brigg.

Starting at the Ancholme leisure centre car park in Brigg this will be a steady ride (about 12mph depending on the weather) along the Trent bank and through Laughton Woods.

Mostly along quiet roads with just one or two small hills.

We plan to stop at Blyton Ice Cream for a break on the ride.

Please bring a spare inner tube, wear a helmet and bring means of paying for refreshments at the stop. Bring suitable clothing for the weather on the day.

New riders will be especially welcome if you are happy with this distance and speed.
