Riverfront Family Bike Ride

‘Free family bike ride around the Riverfront in Newport.
Newport Social Cycling, Newport Live and Welsh Cycling have teamed up to offer a free of charge family bike ride every Saturday throughout the summer!

 Our team of trained Ride Leaders will guide riders around a 3.8-mile traffic-free loop of the river starting at 1 pm from the Newport Live Riverfront Centre, riders can complete as many loops as they like during the afternoon or choose to sit out for a few laps and have a coffee or an ice cream. Either way this is a great place to practice your riding skills!

These rides are designed for people wanting to get back on their bikes after some time out of the saddle, those wanting to improve their fitness, or for those who just to get out and about with their families on a Saturday afternoon. These are not races.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and helmets must be worn at all times.
