Bitterne Park
Explore the city park of Bitterne along traffic free cycle paths and quiet roads. The route takes you through the park and meets the river Itchen riverbank before heading into the urban edges of the city, and popping out near Southampton airport where you may hear the roar of jet engines as holiday makers take to the skies. The route then takes you to the Lakeside Country Park where you can view the miniture railway and stop at the cafe. It then continues through Stoneham park and Magpie Lane to Flemming Park.
