This Father and son cycle group ride is open for anyone to join
Organized by groups in the community, these rides are a great way to meet new people, explore your local area and to have fun riding your bike. You can find rides that are suitable for your level of experience and interests whilst enjoying being part of a social cycling community.

Heading on to the dearne valley trail towards warmsworth halt onto the Tpt going around the magnificent Martin wells lake . Heading across beautiful countryside across to conisbrough Crookhill road then linking up with Clifton hill leading into Clifton village with a very steep climb Doncaster’s equivalent of finkle street . We then head towards the beautiful village of braithwell on very quiet country lanes towards Stainton quarry then over bridleways across fields over Stainton road into Maltby woods a lovely but technically challenging very scenic we cross over tickhill road into more woodland trails crossing railways on two occasions heading up towards Blyth road onto the bridleway into the revine woodland trail towards the glorious grounds of Roche abbey we stop here at the cafe. The outward journey takes us across the grassland trail across towards our exit onto Kingsley Wood Lane heading towards the pretty village of firbeck . We head out onto Maltby road short section before turning off onto a very quiet lane heading towards tickhill linking up on a short busy road but turning onto a less busy road Blyth gate lane hopping onto another bridleway heading towards the Tickhill milestone pond we then go through Tickhill by staying off major roads heading up wilsic lane heading towards wadworth then linking up with springwell lane onto wadworth hill we head over farm roads to Amazon lakes then onto bridleway of potteric Carr nature reserve looping back round to ten pin car park
A few busy roads, bridleways woodland trails country lanes etc
Stopping at the small cafe in Roche abbey limited food options do hot drinks bring your own and we could have a picnic ,plenty of stops to have a drink etc
Helmets are advisable for this ride , also bring tools and spares to repair a puncture.
