A moderately hilly circular route via a beautiful gorge on Rock Lane.
Safety. Wearing a helmet is not compulsory, but highly recommended. Please, make sure your bike is in a road worthy condition (tyres are pumped up, breaks and gears are working). Please, have a spare inner tube that fits your tyres with you.
Weather...... Is unpredictable, as usual. It may worth bringing (or wearing) your waterproofs. Please, bring some water with you to keep hydrated.
Hills. There will be a few, but we need to train our legs to tackle them to be able to enjoy our future rides. Take your time and cycle with your own pace (or walk if it's too much for you). If you fall behind, don't worry, we'll stop at the top (when it is SAFE to do so) to wait for everyone and regroup. We never leave anyone behind.
Refreshments Stop. If desired, we'll stop at Littlehurst Garden Centre for a tea/coffee and a cake :-)
