Roger's Saturday Social Ride

The method used to create these rides is as follows:-
Find a cafe with good coffee and snacks; research a route incorporating back lanes and with good views of the Island’s many beauty spots. The challenge is to find routes that are unknown/unfamiliar to the riders!! Enjoy meeting new people and catching some of the beautiful views of Jersey - whilst getting some healthy exercise!

A social ride; some hills but recuperation time for non E bike riders is factored in. We ride in most weather conditions; wear lots of layers and/or waterproofs if needed. The ride will be cancelled if the wind is >Force 5.

We will be riding in the lanes as far as possible, avoiding main roads and heavy traffic

There will be a stop for coffee (the Island is searched for the best coffee bars!) we have several raconteurs amongst the regular riders so no-one will be left out of the conversations.There may be photo opportunities of both the group and of beauty spots on the trip.

Please wear a helmet and bring an inner tube and tool kit in case of punctures; I will be carrying a basic medical kit. Consider bringing water as the temperatures start to rise.
