Join us on this lovely scenic route that starts and finishes at Fearnville Leisure Centre. We set off on this 5 mile ride along the off-road route and eventually reach our midway destination of Waterloo Lake. After a loop of the lake there is time for a little breather and drink before making our way back. This ride is ideal for families, new and lapsed cyclists who want to explore the local area by bike! Fearnville Bike Festival on Sunday 8th June 12pm – 3pm at Fearnville Leisure Centre on Oakwood Lane, Leeds, LS8 3LF The Fearnville Bike Festival is a FREE festival celebrating the Tour de France / Grande depart coming to Leeds – Come along and take part in the following activities for FREE - Adapted Bike activities, Spinning activities, Dance activities / MASS dance, Bikeability activities, BXM activities, Skateboarding activities, Local Sky Ride - Roll out to Roundhay, Bike maintenance, multi-sport activities and much much more… Please note to bring your own bike lock to secure your bike! This ride uses part of National Cycle Network Connect 2 Project, soon to be (NCN) route 667. Not cycled for a while and looking for an easy way to get back in the saddle? Fancy a fun way to get your friends or kids riding? Our Easygoing rides are great for building confidence for all abilities and ages along relaxed, mostly traffic-free routes. They’re up to six miles long, with a gentle pace of around six miles an hour.
