Ropley Village

Any roadworthy bike will be suitable. Please check your bike to ensure it is roadworthy before the ride.

We will head out from Kings Worthy towards Alresford on to Cheriton and the battlefield stop. Then it's up and over to Ropley for a stop at the village shop and café for the necessary cake or/and something more savory and drink (approx 15 miles). The return will be through Bighton, skirting Alresford and up to Northington before dropping down towards Itchen Abbas and Kings Worthy. Points available for first Skylark spotted.

Please ensure you have a helmet and in case of a puncture the necessary bits and bobs to undertake a repair (inner tube or repair kit with tools and pump). Assistance, however, can be provided if needed. Please bring some water and a snack. Please also have suitable clothes for weather conditions together with creams or ointments that may be necessary in high summer.

Support will be provided whenever appropriate to ensure that all have an enjoyable time.
