About the route
The ride starts at Smithfield Car Park in North Street, Rhayader and heads into the Elan Valley past the visitor centre. We’ll cycle around the reservoirs, climbing up to the old mountain road via a short sharp climb. We can have a breather and enjoy the views before descending for 3 miles back to Rhayader.
