This is an easy-going ride for the high summer, with a return by train, visiting the splendid rose gardens in Hyde Park and in Regent’s Park. We will ride down to Hyde Park via Chiswick, Ravenscourt Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens. After enjoying the cycle track along South Carriage Way, we will double back on ourselves, dismount from our bikes, and explore the Hyde Park Rose Gardens on foot.

Riding on, we will make our way to the north side of the Park, and then through Marylebone and up to Regent’s Park. Here we will pause to enjoy the roses and other summer flowers in the glorious Queen Mary’s Gardens. We will have a picnic in the Gardens, so please bring your own food https://www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/the-regents-park/things-to-see-and-do/gardens-and-landscapes/queen-marys-gardens

Our return ride takes us through Regent’s Park on the Broad Walk, then around the Outer Circle, and making our way back to Paddington. If we have time, we might pause to view the famous statue of Sarah Siddons on Paddington Green https://www.heritageoflondon.org/projects/statue-of-sarah-siddons and the memorial to Alan Turing on the canal towpath https://londonist.com/2016/09/alan-turing-commemorated-with-new-paddington-installation

Then we will take the Elizabeth Line back to Ealing Broadway.
