Starting from Rushden Railway Museum we will follow the Greenway towards Rushden Lakes using the footbridge over the A45 and join the cycle path to Stanwick Lakes behind AJ Cycles. We will continue through Stanwick Lakes heading towards Thrapston and stop at The Watermill Tea Rooms.

On our return we will follow a route around Stanwick Lakes parallel with the A45.

The cycle path /footpath goes over the A45 at Irthlingborough Lakes towards Higham Ferrers. We will head towards Higham School using the Greenway and finish back at the Railway museum.

The cycle paths are a mixture of tarmacked paths to flat but muddy / gravelly terrain so a mountain or hybrid with off road tires would be needed. The route is pretty much flat with gentle hills so it should be a relaxing pleasant ride. However, please be aware of walkers, runners, children, dogs and cyclists.
If you have any problems and need to contact me please call 07935 392 293

This is a gentle loop mainly off road following the Greenway ideal for those who haven’t ridden in a long time and want to build up to more challenging rides.

Off road cycle paths. There are footbridges over the A45 where we will dismount and push our bikes. More confident riders can continue to cycle.
