Route rating
(1) ReviewsThis is a scenic and historic ride across into Cornwall. The route is not long but has some steep hills ( downhill ) so good brakes are important. Where there any difficult climbs we can walk and wait for riders at the top of the hill.
Some of the route is urban but uses on road cycle paths. There are some country lanes which are usually quiet with local people walking along the scenic roads. Across the tamar bridge care must be taken leaving the cyclepath onto the road due to the steep gradient and metal bollards
There are stops for viewing points of interest such as nature reserves, parks and castles. A coffee stop is planned at Saltmill Park and maybe Saltash passage as Covid restrictions allow.
Helmets , Waterproof coat, mask and money, also money and spare inner tube and pump.
We never leave anyone behind
