Sankey Valley and the Dream

This is a ride for mountain bikes , and hybrids , starting at Carr Mill Dam , heading out down through Sankey Valley and diverting off at burtonwood ,past the brewery , heading over on roads to The Dream . From there we head down towards Widnes and head towards the Runcorn Bridge taking in views of the new crossing that is being constructed . From this point we start to head back up the canal with a slight diversion because of the new crossing and then pass through Fiddlers Ferry boat yard all the way back through Warrington , newton , and back upto Carr Mill dam . There are some stunning views on this ride and lots of wildlife to see . There is a bit of mud too as well as good paths and some road work .
