Santa's Christmas ride to Hertford

We will be following the cyclepath down to the river and then will jump on the tow path along the River Stort. We cross over to the Lee navigation and follow that all the way to Hertford. after a social and unrushed stop we will come back the same way.

This will be a very social ride to Hertford and back with optional Christmas outfits. We will be on towpaths and will have a refreshment stop. Please ensure your not in a rush back.

Traffic free as we will be travelling on cycle paths and Tow path throughout.

We will be stopping in Hertford probably at Nero's unless its really too cold to sit outside. (There is a lovely Market cake stall next door)

Helmets are advised and please ensure that you have checked your bike and carrying an inner tube with you. It would be lovely to see everyone dressed up Christmas or some decoration on the bikes but not essential. you will be riding with some that do so hope not easily embarassed lol . please bring money for refreshments and carry a bottle of water on the bike if poss.
