Saturday - Another Winter Wakey Wakey Legs

**Update : Route to Datchworth with a cafe stop . 25 miles **

Join me in getting back into riding. We will start with 25 ish miles, aiming for about 11 mph over the whole ride. Route and cafe (stop possibly at the end) will be confirmed nearer the time. I will be on a hybrid with thick tyres. The ride will be on roads mostly, some of which are not in great condition, so good tyres are essential.

Please check your email for updates. If I have to cancel the ride due to unsuitable weather, I will walk and grab a coffee instead.

The important bits:

Please ensure your bike is in good working order and you have an emergency backup/taxi number to call on in case of issues.

Ride Related:
- check your bike the night before (Tyre pressure will go down when your bike has not been used or from use!)
- carry 2 spare inner tubes, tyre levers and correct pump
- Money for coffee/emergencies. Helmet (compulsory on ride-sorry!)
- Water and a snack, just in case
- Appropriate bright and warm clothing (Rain/Sun – hopefully the latter)
- Lights (not essential but a plus in winter)
