Starting from Charnock Farm, a relatively flat route, riding mainly on quiet roads and country lanes including some sections of traffic free cycle paths. With a stop at Stickyweeds Cafe, please bring cash/card if you wish to make a purchase at the cafe. Please bring a drink and snack, which is especially important as the cafe stop is over 2/3rds into the ride. Then returning back to the start point at Charnock Farm.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the stated time, especially if arriving by car, so we can be ready to ride on time.

Please ensure you have a helmet and have checked your bike the night before, at least brakes and gears. Please bring a drink and snack. Bring a spare tube and tools needed to fix a puncture. Dress for the weather.

Will be aiming to ride around 8-11 miles per hour, however we will ride to the pace of the slowest in the group and NO-ONE will be left behind.

This is a community group ride, not a guided ride. Although I am an experienced group rider and have ridden the route before, I have not risk assessed it and am not a qualified leader or first aider. I will happily assist with any issues to the best of my ability, but please ensure you have alternative transportation home in case of any mechanical that cannot be resolved en route. I try to keep to cycle paths and quiet roads and lanes where possible, however busy roads cannot be avoided completely and there are the associated hazards that go with these.
