Scenic Route to Bolton Abbey Tea Rooms

We will head out towards the Chevin then drop down into Otley. We will leave Otley on Denton Lane and weave our way on the far side of the Wharfe through Askwith, Ilkley, Nesfield and Beamsley to the Tea Rooms above Bolton Abbey. After stopping for coffee we will return on the same side of the Wharfe through Beamsley, Nesfield, Ilkley, Askwith then cross the river again in Otley and head back to Bramhope via Poole and Creskeld Lane.

Mostly country roads although there are short stretches on or crossing busy main roads

We will stop at Bolton Abbey Tea Rooms to refuel - lots of cakes to choose from and a great place to get some pictures of the Abbey and river.

Please wear a helmet and clothing to suit the weather. I recommend that you bring a bottle of water and an energy snack. Please ensure your bike is in good state of repair.
