Sconce and Devon park rumble

We will meet in the park itself where there is free parking. We will head out of the park taking a right down Boundary Road where we will come to a roundabout. We take a right here heading towards Hawton. Before we get to the village we will take a right heading towards the old A46 towards East Stoke. This road is now a lot quieter and cycle friendly. At East stoke traffic lights we will take a left heading towards Thorpe we will stay on this single track flat road until we reach a T junction sign posted to Shelton. We go for a few miles until we reach signs to Cotham and Hawton which will lead us back to Sconce Park and tea and cake. There are a few minor hills to climb on this route but the views are stunning. This ride is perfect for those who are already confident out on the road, its an intermediate ride. We will always ride at the pace of the slowest rider so no one is left behind. We really welcome newcomers to our rides.  It's a good idea to bring some water and you may also want to bring a snack if you think your energy levels may need topping up along the way.  Wearing a helmet is compulsory on this ride. Please bring some money if you want to buy refreshments.
