A ride over to Bank Hall in Bretherton to view the spectacular snowdrops and taking us through villages and farmland of West Lancashire. The gardens will be open for us to view the snowdrops and walk round. There is a small charge of £4.00 (cash only) to enter the grounds.

This is one of our Winter Miles, Summer Smiles winter cycling campaign, kindly sponsored by local business Cycle Surgeon. If you are not a member of HRS, then please email horwichridesocial.com for a membership form which needs to be returned in advance of the ride.

Mostly country lanes and minor roads with a short section of grassy bridleway and gravel canal tow path.

We will stop at the Velo cafe in Croston after we have viewed the snowdrops. This is three quarters of the way round.

Please wear a helmet and be self sufficient with items for a puncture repair. Bring a drink, snack, payment method for the cafe and £4.00 IN CASH if you wish to visit the snowdrop gardens.

We never leave anyone behind
