Sirhowy to Taff Bargoed-Women only

On this ride we start at the Sirhowy Valley Country Park car park (The free one just as you turn in from the road, parking on the kerb side or in car park spaces) and continue our popular Newport to Sirhowy ride on to Parc Taff Bargoed.

A really lovely ride following old railway tracks and cycle paths, steadily (Mostly gently) uphill on the way out to Parc Taff Bargoed where we'll stop for a picnic before a lovely gentle downhill ride home.

The coffee kiosk is very unlikely to be open so please bring your picnic just incase.

Its an out and back totaling 19 miles.

If you have one please bring a bike lock.

For all rides please ensure that your brakes are functional and that your wheels are turning freely, tyres should be firm enough that you can't dimple them with your thumb.

To ensure everyone's safety we will do a quick bike check before we set off at 10.00
