The city has rides and routes for all abilities and all the family.  British Cycling works with Bradford Metropolitan District Council to promote various new opportunities, new initiatives and new incentives to get you on your bike.

There are a number of amazing routes and venues in the Bradford area to help you make the most of your cycling experience – there really is something for everyone.

Bradford has something to offer every kind of cyclist; from city routes to country trails. The following links will help you to find out more about the different tracks and trails in the area.

Airedale Greenway – Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath. Part of NCN route 66 and 69.

Riding around Bradford
There is some of the best on and off road riding in Yorkshire; from the scenic country lanes and rugged off road trails in the Yorkshire Dales to the world class trail centre in Dalby Forest. Add to this a well developed network of leisure routes and it's clear that Yorkshire offers a great escape for everyone.

Closed Road
Bradford has a closed road circuit at the Richard Dunns Sports Centre. Perfect for children and young people, the circuit can be accessed through East Bradford Cycle Club Saturday morning sessions.  Please click here for more details.

BMX
Bradford has a fantastic purpose built BMX track at Peel Park and there is open access to the public. You can also get involved via Bradford BMX Bandits – for further information, click here.

Mountain biking
For the more adventurous Buck Wood Thackley offers open access mountain bike dirt jumps and a pump track. Click here for more details.
