Start point is Riverside car park in Newton Stewart by the picnic benches. Taking the road through Minnigaff and ascending gently up the single lane Risk Road for a short period before emerging on to the main New Galloway road. Riding back down towards Newton before taking a left turn to go into and through Blackcraig. We'll then cross over the A75 on to the single lane road around Park McClurg and return to the start point at Newton Stewart
Not a fast cycle, social riding speed to enjoy the sunshine and the fantastic views of the Galloway Hills.
Please bring a drink and snack with you, and cycle lights, a spare inner tube, puncture kit and tyre inflater. Cycle helmets are mandatory on my rides as well.
