Social Ride to Hanbury

Run by Beacon Roads Cycling Club and led by British Cycling trained ride leaders, this is a lovely 35 mile ride heading out to The hill climb event and Broad Acres Fishery Café and back.

Starting from The Black Horse public house car park we ride on quiet roads t0 Beacon Roads CC hill climb event. We should arrive around 9.50 ready to watch the riders racing against the clock up the hill. This should finish around 10.30, we will then ride to Broad Acres Fishery to meet up with other club members and have a coffee and bite to eat. We then return to the Black Horse.
The pace will be of the slowest rider, which is usually between 10-13mph (13-21kph). You will be looked after throughout the ride. No one is dropped.
Please arrive 10 minutes before departure time for a bike check and ride briefing.

Note that the car park on at the Black Horse is chargeable, there is though plenty of free parking on the roads close by. Bring a little cash or card for a drink and a bite to eat at the café. Please bring a spare tube in case of punctures, our ride leaders do have bike mechanic skills and will help.
