Sofa to Saddle, A Series of Beginners Rides.

This is a series of rides for beginners or someone returning to cycling. All the rides will be on quieter roads some with cycle paths. We will start the series with a short ride of approximately 4-5 miles, then slowly building by adding a few extra miles onto each subsequent ride. On some of the rides we may stop for refreshments either during or after the ride, depending on the area we are riding in. We will ride at a pace that is best suited to everyone in the group. There will be a few gentle inclines and as Leaders we will support all riders to ensure that no one is left behind (it is OK to walk up an incline!) so that all the group can have an enjoyable ride. Please remember to bring,
Two spare innertubes for your bike, even if you do not know how to change them, someone in the group will, as well as the appropriate tools (tyre levers and a spanner for your wheels if you do not have quick release.)
A water bottle with a drink in, riding can be very thirsty work.
Cycle helmet, for your own safety.
Appropriate clothing for the weather
As we will be riding on the road please consider adding lights to your bike and wearing high vis clothing to assist other road users to see you.
