The final ride No 6 in the Sofa to Sportive 2024 series. A flat ride of 50 miles.

The majority will be B roads and quiet country lanes. The start point requires us to cross a busy A road for a very short distance.

We will take rest stops as needed on this ride as it is a long distance. We take a refreshment stop at Glasson dock and call into Knott End near to the Fleetwood ferry on the return leg with an opportunity for ice cream

Helmets are needed for this ride and you will not be able to ride without one. Basic repair kit for your bike, spare inner tube and pump/tyre levers. Any snacks you may require for energy and water or something to drink as this is a longer ride than the previous 5

As previously described this is the last ride in the Sofa to Sportive 2024 series. These will all be road rides and you are required to have a road bike to take part. The series will start with 20 to 30 mile rides and fairly flat routes. These will progress to more mileage and elevation per week. These rides are intended to build up stamina and endurance with the intention of taking part in a road sportive in the summer months. This is the longest distance and will give you an idea of sportive distance.
