Somersall Park to Edensor Tea Cottage.

A relaxed saturday morning ride on a warm summers day.

Leaving the park, we head out onto the new cycleway, before passing through Holymoorside and begining our climb up Harewood Road. Reaching the top we begin a wonderful 'traffic free' descent into Beeley Village. Here we will take a little time to look around the village, as 'Beeley in Bloom' begins on Saturday, so the village and gardens will look amazing! Leaving Beeley, we soon enjoy stunning views across the Chatsworth Estate, where deer and sheep roam freely, before arriving in the beautifully quaint little village of Edensor.
Leaving the Tea Cottage, we cycle across to Chatsworth and around the grounds of Chatsworth House, before retracing our route to Beeley, climbing up onto Beeley Moor. Soon after, we enjoy a breathtaking three mile descent, back into Holymoorside. Here we have a short, but steep, climb, out of the village, and again enjoy a long descent back to Somersall park.
