Sonning Common to Pyrton

A lovely route taking in some Chiltern country lanes and villages, and the spectacular display of daffodils at Pyrton church at their peak this week. We make our way very gradually uphill to Nuffield, continuing to Christmas Common to enjoy the BIG downhill into Watlington, where we will stop for refreshments at Spire and Spoke. We will then take a loop through Pytron and Brightwell Upperton, passing through Ewelme, to begin our ascent back up to Nuffield. There’s alway a hill at some point, but it's a gradual ascent, and no one will be left behind. We will finish on a big downhill back to Sonning Common.

Cycle helmets are compulsory. Please check your bike the night before, chain oiled, tyres fully inflated (makes it easier!), and always carry a spare inner tube suitable for your tyre size. And preferable two! And a pump which you know fits your valve.
