Southport to crosby Return

Using a route from last year , this route should be fine for road bikes , hybrids , cx bikes , even mtbs as it is only 28 miles , mainly smooth tarmac using roads and cycle paths ( please note , not the bumpy coastal path ) . We will take in The Gormley Statues , as well as any ships entering or departing the port of Liverpool .
We will hopefully eat at Waterloo Place in Crosby , if theres any problem , we will eat at The Hightown pub on the way back . We ride at a social pace so we can chat and enjoy the views . Please do not go forward of the front ride leader unless told to do so .
Please check your bikes over the night before , and make sure you have a couple of spare innertubes and a pump that works or CO2 cannisters .
