Starting point

SE5 0RJ

Park Life Cafe, Burgess Park, 3 Chumleigh St, London.

As Bovril® Castle, which nestles in the trees near College Road, is one of the jewels in the crown of the London Borough of Southwark and is well within reach of a Southwark Healthy Ride, we have arranged our own Healthy Ride to take a look at it. We want to use this as an opportunity to invite the large number of people who live in boroughs that don't do their own Healthy Rides, to join us. We will meet at the Park Life Cafe in Burgess Park at 10am and will start by following a familiar route past Peckham Rye Common to Dulwich Park. We then cross into to visit the Rookery garden at Streatham Common. We then cycle back to Southwark to take a look at Bovril® Castle. We will stop off at the Dulwich Park cafe for a refreshment break. We then cycle back to Burgess Park using a route which takes us through the grounds of St Giles Church and through Brunswick Park. Ride Leader: Nigel Bee (tel. 0745 315 690, email [email protected]) For more details and the route see: https://www.cyclinguk.org/event/ride/southwark-healthy-ride-bovril-castle
