Vale Farm

This adventurous 25 mile route follow's in John Betjeman's (poet) footsteps to discover Metroland. Starting in Sudbury, close to Betjeman’s beloved Brent Valley, the ride ascends Harrow on the Hill (another Betjeman poem), descending into Harrow Weald then out into the countryside up Clamp Hill and along Old Redding, to enjoy views over the Weald and back towards Harrow Hill. Then it's on to Oxhey Woods and Moor Park, you can stop in Northwood for a breather and to see an iconic suburban road from '70's sitcom heaven! There's so much to see on this great route.
