Spondon Cycling Club Summer of Cycling event

Welcome to Summer of cycling with Spondon Cycling club, in association with British Cycling.
An event for under 18's to get into cycling. It doesn't matter whether they can ride a bike well or are just starting out, as long as they have a bike of some description bring them along to Elvaston castle between 11am and 3pm for activities to suit everyone. We will have an area for some basic skills learning and fun activities for the younger ones, a 2 or 3 mile circuit of the trails around the Castle grounds for those with a bit more confidence, led by one of our club ride leaders. You can do as many laps of this circuit as you like. There will also be an option to have a slightly longer group ride along the River path towards Derby and Back.
Note that all children will need to be accompanied by a parent or gurdian on the rides. You are wlecome to just turn up on the day or click to join and let us know you are coming.
