Tommy statue North Terrace Green Seaham

Monday 29 May 2017 1.30pm 12 miles Spring into Seaham Breeze Network Durham is delighted to be part of the Durham Heritage Coast's week long 'Reach for the Beach' festival with a 12 mile circular ride on Bank Holiday Monday 29 May. We'll be starting from the Tommy statue on Terrace Green and will enjoy a leisurely jaunt, exploring mainly quiet roads and off road routes via South Hetton, Murton and Seaton before heading back to the seaside. Free tea/coffee and scones and a goody bag will be available to all participants at the end of the ride at The Look Out cafe with its commanding position overlooking the Seaham coastline. This trip is most suited for riders with some riding experience but wanting to increase their confidence. Children are welcome on this ride, however they must be booked on by and accompanied by an adult. As there are some sections of road riding they should be confident riders and over 10 years old. All under 18s must wear a helmet. Please come prepared for whatever the weather might bring with appropriate clothing and footwear including a waterproof and also pack a spare inner tube for your tyres. Hope you can join us for a fun and friendly ride and celebrate Durham's Heritage Coast. If you want any more information email us at [email protected]. Audrey and Lucy
