The route will take us along the old railway lines that run from Stalybridge to Delph in Saddleworth, taking us along the Staly Way, Tame valley Way, Saddleworth Linear line, Huddersfield canal and along the Delph Donkey.

A steady ride from Stalybridge to Delph and back, along the old railway lines. The route is 15miles in length with some small climbs and descents.

The route will take us along some roads, off-road cycle paths, bridleways, canal towpaths. Some sections of the route can be muddy & Stoney/rocky. There will also be some short descents and climbs.

We will stop as and when needed, for food and drink.

A mountain bike in good working order. Helmets are compulsory. Gloves A rucksack bag Spare clothes/waterproofs Food & drink A spare inner tube (ride leader will have tools/pump) Some spare change
