Steve Marriott (30 January 1947 – 20 April 1991) was an English musician, songwriter and frontman of two notable rock and roll bands, spanning over two decades. He was lead singer and guitarist with the Small Faces, from 1964, until the end of 1968.
We start with his early life and influences, passing through "Itchycoo Park" and on to the site of the music shop were he met Ronnie Lane. We then head out of London to Morton where a Blue Plaque marks his last home. We will be stopping at North Weald Station for a coffee break and a quick look at the steam trains and heritage buses which will be running on route. We return to Ilford via Havering-atte-Bower.

All participants are expected to bring: • A bike in good working order with tyres pumped to the correct pressure. (If in doubt, have it checked over by a local bike shop or qualified mechanic). • Carry at least a spare inner tube, pump and tyre levers. • Dress for the weather. • A drink and energy bar. • Lights if there is any chance of poor visibility.
